The Harm of ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and other PRO's

Fort Albert has chosen to adopt a stance against the Performance Rights Organizations and the harm they cause to independent musicians. The big thing that ASCAP and the other PRO's do is they tend to overstep their bounds.

It is easier to record your own music, shoot your own videos, set up your own production and get limited distribution and sell on the Internet all by yourself.
By that same token, it is that easy for many other artists that are trying to make it as well.
Welcome to the New Site
Submitted by Michael on Sat, 01/23/2010 - 23:05Well hello and welcome to the new site, we had some troubles with the old one, and I felt that a change was in order. But I think in the long run this will be a change for the best. I have adopted a more aggressive media release schedule meaning more audio and video to independent music lovers. We are working on improving the way the video library is handled on the new site as before the videos were not really hosted on here and were on various other sources instead.
